Day 18 of colonization with Coir/WBS, and I see some green mold poking out...

Any way in trying to save it? It seems to be changing to a sorta of yellowish tint as well.

2 monotubs being done the same, but the other one doesn't seem to be harmed at all/yet. Should I just accept the 1/2 loss and dump the first tub, or can I save it? If I try and see what happens with it, is there a risk increase and can lose the other one? Thanks!!! :stoned:

If you get Trichoderma, which that appears to be, your entire grow room will be coated with billions of sticky ass spores. The room will basically fuck you over for your future grows.

If you wanna try and fruit the other one out, which I personally would do, put it in your garage(weather permitting). Or in some other room far away from your grow. A basement might work.

Just remember not to cross contaminate. If you so much as look at the contammed tub, take a shower, change into clean clothes, etc.

Good luck buddy.

get that contam tub out of there Carefully or you will be covered with bad spores.  Put it in a garbage bag seal it and get rid of it.

Do not even bother trying to save that, carefully place a garbage bag over the tub tie it up and remove from the room.  I would suggest washing your walls down with 10% bleach solution to reduce the number of spores in your room.
