I dont know where he gets 6500 for redline, but whatever apparently he knows so much more than I do about my car.
9k has been tested on this motor before and withstand harsh conditions for a few years w/out detonation and a few have been on boost, no internals.

You two guys are funny as hell. Mobil 1 is a great oil.
Yea, I'm a fool for removing weight from my car.....tell that to actual race car drivers....wait they must be morons too. 75lbs didn't come from the rear. If you knew what you were talking about, you would know there isn't 75lbs of removable material in the rear.
Also it is a front wheel drive vehicle, so I don't need to drag my ass equally going down a straight like you assume it should be doing.
Both of you need to revamp your supposed "knowledge" about cars.

I've built 2 BMWs, a 98 328is sport package. (big bore throttle body, m50 intake manifold, shrick cams, piggybacked ECU, just on the engine) and a 88 325e Super ETA (everything above the block is off a 88 325is, mmm 2.8 liter 7000rpm 220 hp on a 2700 pound car).
And one 92 Mercedes 190e 2.6, all stock.
Those are real fucking cars, what you drive is a toy.

This is what your dyno graph would look like basically, except subtract the hp and tq by 250 or more.
Notice how the hp doesn't climb above 7k?
Notice how the torque drops off above 7k?
And remember, horse power doesn't win races, torque does.
Go ahead and waste money on your 40 dollar oil changes, on a car that does not need synthetic, at fucking all.
That's cool you're getting a 240sx so you can drift in it, really.
No, drifting is fucking sloppy driving, it's for fools who think it's cool. And if you ever try to actually drift, you're probably going to end up in the curb. You'll just be fish tailing out of turns trying to impress your ricer friends.
It's always your type who see my car club sticker and my debaged car and try to race me in their 'tegs and civics with red/black rims and carbon fiber parts. When my car with an engine almost 2 times as big and obviously not stock, will devastate them.
I've been tracking cars since the first day I got my drivers license, participating in Porsche club, and SCCA Autox as well. And trust me, from somebody who has hung around everything from kids to your type, to guys who drive z06's and GT3's, no body except ricer kids, and little hood rat girls think your car is cool.

low temp cranking viscosities specifically
look at some actual numbers.
mobil 1
0w-40 4,301@-35°
0W-30 3,800@-35°
5w-30 3,600@-30°
10W-30 3,848@-25°
now amsoil
0W-30 syn Viscosity @ -30°
5W-30 syn Viscosity @ -25°
10W-30 syn Viscosity @ -20°
Mobile 1 Sucks. I'd go for more, but I'm drunk and tired.
I don't dyno my car, but why would be no reason for lots of people who mod their car to dyno it?
