Cloning made simple
    #11307893 - 10/23/09 08:18 PM (7 years, 11 months ago)

Hey, It's me again. I love this website. I was hoping somebody here could point me in the best direction for a not so much easy cloning tek but the most simple. :crazy2:Does that make sense? Like not very many steps I mean. Past sterelizing the needle and getting right down to getting your sample and then what to do with it. My mushroom is dryin' out as I type. So I need to find out in a hurry. Thank you.

tissue lc or isolating strains on agar are two things you can search for.

with the tissue LC, you have a greater chance if contaminates, so in the long run it may cost you more time.

your welcome.

with a wild fruit tissue sample or print I would definitely go the agar route.

try making some prints if you can.  http://www.iplayerhd.com/player/50f78917-c778-46bd-b4a4-26dd43bed29e.aspx

that way you can dry the mushrooms and still have the spores to work with later on down the road..

My first clone ever was a PR grown in my outdoor garden,,I simply sprayed the room down like always wiped all surfaces down with Lysol wiped the shroomy down with alcohol and proceeded to split it down the middle.
From there I cut 3 tiny pieces and put them in LC.

The LC turned out great

Good luck and keep us updated

Can I go directly from taking the clone sample into the syringe to inoculation. I didn't see why not but I will come here to ask.
