These look like actives to me...
    #11306506 - 10/23/09 04:13 PM (7 years, 11 months ago)

I found about half a sandwich bag full of these fresh earlier today in a big pile of woodchips and horse dung.
Hopefully they are active, they look amazing

the bigger one is dried up, obviously, i think it is just am older specimen that dried out, but i'm not sure if its the same mushroom. Probably is, considering i found about 5 like it in the group

Conocybe sp.

There are not many toxic mushrooms that grow on dung but this may be one!

What size are the spores?  Cheilocystidia shape?  Any annulus?  Do you think it was on dung or wood?

Was the stipe faintly fibrillose to glabrous?

Here, try this key!

I have no microscope, but once the spore print comes out i will post the color

I have a question about the edibility of this mushroom
Hypothetically i eat a small amount, say one or two mushrooms, what would be the worst that could happen based on the conocybe genus and the possibilile species based on teh pictures?

I am not actually stupid enough to do this, i would like to know just to know.

I am not sure because i can't find any real info on them but i think they might be conocybe corophila.
They only info i have on them is that they are deadly.
Anyone know about corophilas?
Its kind of dissappointing that they are a toxic, or potentially even a deadly species
Although they do look really nice
