found growing in my plant
    #11306313 - 10/23/09 03:43 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

I just found these growing in my recently repotted now sick Salvia plant.
They are white with dark grey in center of cap. Gills seem to be pinkish.
Anyone know what they are?

Lepiota genera fungus? They don't look too pink to my eye.

here is a pic in natural light, as you can see it is a lot pinker than the white paper it is on.

It looks like Lepiota but the gills are free and pink so I guess its Pluteus.

Never seen a Pluteus in a plant pot before.  Nice find.

are you sure they are not Volvariella?
You can see in the first pic they have a volva.
It says here that Pluteus have no volva.

here is a pic of one popping up yesterday.
