hawaii, growing on a dead tree stump

Gills:
white/creamy

Stem:
very short, white/creamy

Cap:
tiny, white/creamy, ribbed, semispherical

Bruising:
absent

Other information:


more pictures from a different camera. they seem to be glowing, really cool.

in my expierience they have always been more yellow, but i do see the distinctive grooves that almost end at the centre, where there is sort of a "nipple" or "knob"

not sure if they are coprinus disseminatus. white gills and not very fragile. i know they are still babies though. ill take some more pics when they get bigger. they are right outside my house.

Yeah, I havn't caught up with a lot of the name changes.

Here is my photo of what I think was ID'd as pseudocoprinus disseminatus for comparison. Of course, this was found in the PNW not Hawaii

From a taxonomic standpoint Coprinellus "makes more sense".

It's okay though, a lot of people do not use the current scientifically accepted names.
