this will be my first grow. i think i have the basics but things are different from site to site.
do i leave 1/2" or 3/4" space at top of jar?
should i bake vermiculite and brown rice flour in a pan before i mix with water or is it useless?
how long can i keep the jars after they are boiled without removing the foil but taking them out of the pan?
is it true you can inoculate you jars if you preheat oven to lowest setting and after heated inoculate on fully extended bottom rack of oven for a sterile place?
is 86o good for incubation?
most site mention nothing about dunking in cold water for 12-24 hours before you put it in the terrarium should i do it?
after picking the mushrooms the first time do i dunk it for another 24-36 hours before back in the terrarium?

No need to bake the verm or BRF .
Just mix it up load into jars PC or steam in a pot for 90 mins.
Room temp around 75 is perfect for incubation and fruiting
Let the jars cool for at least 8 hours in the PC or Pot I would use them up within 24 hours
After the birth dunk for 24 hours then rinse then roll in dry verm, after each flush just dunk for 24 hours
Do all innocs in a clean place of the house use glove a surgical mask and 70% Iso a lighter and your good.

Noobs make me smile. Its like I feel like I've came full circle, if I call him out and be like, ...UTFSF! (like they did me) So, instead, I'll just say, (this goes to ALL noobs)(pay attention)
The 1st thing, the VERY 1st thing, before we even start this discussion, (of wether or not you have you got the balls,knowledge,Haven,equiptment,etc.)1st above all, is the ability to either keep your mouth SHUT about it... (cant stress that enough) or, grow edibles and hide in broad daylight.
just fill it to the bottom of the screw.
FRED, NO! you cannot do this, and just the fact that you axed that.
Dude. you need alot more knowledge about the process and why we do what. If you mix up the brf/water and verm, and then put it in a jar, its gonna start growing mold immediately... and continue until you stop it. thats why this is done in one smooth motion, having mixed up the jars, PC/boil immediately... then inoculate once cool... NOTHING ELSE...don't try to change shit and all that just plan it out and do it one day...
CHEERS!
