The plug-ins and add-ons that firefox have make it superior in my opinion but google chrome looks nicer and it is a little bit faster although not by much.

Keep in mind that every new browser or version of browser always has a speed advantage… until they plug up the security holes. We see this in every browser comparison on a new release.

Chrome is good. Too bad it isn't on Linux. I have two computers at work, one is faster then then other one, but they are the same model. Ironically the slower machine running Fedora Core 11 is faster; because it runs less services and you can even in linux remove services from the kernel. The kernel is what runs all the software; remove all the crap you don't need and it fly's even faster.
Firefox is fine. It isn't the browser speed half the time ne ways, it is your internet pipe, weather conditions, etc. Since weather seeps into the copper pipes that make up all the local internet unless you are lucky and have fiber.

Man I've used Windows for 20 years. Haven't you? Why not learn Linux; 20 times more useful, powerful, reliable, its free, you can even do side jobs for linux related projects.
All Microsoft is, is money. You have to pay out the ass to have any real features. With Linux, everything is available, everything is free, all the features are included or easily upgradeable. Honestly Windows is more of a pina (pain in the ass) to setup then any Linux system. All you have todo is type on Linux, vs. this painful clicking, double clicking and other mindless waste of your time. Graphical user interfaces are good to a point, but sometimes command line is so much easier, faster, and isn't annoying. At least in Linux you have the choice, GUI or command line, for everything. In windows your forced to be a click bitch.

The plug-ins and set-up just feel like home.
Never tried the google browser, however.
