Lids put on pf jars wrong????????????help!!!

When i made my jars I put the lids on my pf jars the way they normally go on the mason jar and not with the rubber side facing upward.So far the jars seem to be growing healthy is there any problems one might run into with the rubber part of the lids not facing up and how would they be solved?

you are fine, your only problem could come from tightening the jars, the moisture and the growing inside tends to create a suction that seems to seal the jars, just dont completely seal the jars

Not a thing to worry about. They actually make a better seal with the rubber down. The only worry is that the rubber tends to melt when sterilized. Upward it melts but stays on the lid. Upside down it can seep into the jars.
