This is b+ cased with a near saturated 50/50 mix. I incubated for 3 days until myc was poking through in several places, patched w/ 50/50 and put into the fruiting chamber about 3 days ago. FAE, light, and temp all seem good. Myc seems to be coming through pretty evenly across the casing. How do you guys think it looks? Anything else I need to do? How long do ya think before I should see pins and primordia forming? Any advice/comments will help greatly!! Ive tried this a few times now and can never get this shit right...plenty of myc grows but no mushies?

looks good so far ..........um....0 contams?
ive been through this same thing before, keep the temps, RH, and FAE consistent and you will see pins in several days
are you misting, how often and how much
dont mess with the tray any more than you have to
the folks here are plenty helpful so keep asking questions

yeah, I havnt been misting much as the RH seems to be pretty good in the chamber...only a couple of times real lightly, until the 50/50 gleams and glistins a bit. been trying to follow hyphie's strategy for pinning.

what have you done differently than before, when you were having problems with it not fruiting? when it did not fruit did it eventually develop trich?

Well, The fruiting chamber gets much better FAE this time around as I have moved flats and am able to have it in a much better location...I had to hide it in a closet before, didnt want my previous flatmates to find out ya know. It also gets a longer light cycle...14hrs on. Really those are the only differance between then and now. Yes, after about 3 weeks in the chamber the other casings did develop tric. I have also tried pftek and have no luck with that either.

it sounds good and the pics look great so im sure you will have shrooms in no time.id say it should be pinning in 3-6 days.

yussss! I sure hope thats the case...it would restore some of the faith i've lost in myself from failing at this so much over the past month or two, and halloween is coming up real soon!! Would be great to have some boomers on halloween I reckon. Thanks for the comments!

shit. I can go get some peroxide in the morning. should I mix w/ water and mist lightly?? never done this before. HELP!!

u812- its looking fine - post up better pics to see forsure if you got mold - i think your just paranoid - and if you have perfect moisture content in your pasturized bulk sub you shouldn't have to water at all - let one sit for 2wks just as is - and post back when you see pins! Also - casing isn't entirely nessasary when doing bulk cubes - ive never done casing - and still have never been dissapointed either
if you try another round try doing one with casing - and one without - see what works best - but i swear - i never want to fuck with making "clean casing" - i always saw that as a way to fuck up right off the bat
Looking good keep patient and post up as much as you can

ive used sterile vermic/polymer for my casing just an inch or so thick to retain surface moisture content, i somehow still got trich in small sections after the first flush. this was more than likely due to me fucking with it non stop as i was very excited........anyway this looks good, i don t see any cobweb you need to keep the temps around 74 and high RH mabe lightly mist twice a day as shrooms will suck the shit up.............
