Low maintenance methods?
    #1129668 - 12/10/02 04:45 PM (21 years, 4 months ago)

Hey guys, with the approaching holiday season I might be forced to leave my humble abode. Any ideas on keeping an active casing alive and productive while out of town? I could check on them say weekly. For general needed maintenance.

Hey I'm writting a paper and need to cite a quote, anyone remember who said "I'm but a phantom walking amongst phantoms"? or something of that nature. I think it was Thoreau or Emerson. thanks.

Just get a bubbler and make some vents filled with polyfill in your terrarium, not the greatest method, but better than nothing.  :smirk:

thats going to be a tough one, if i were you i would just go ahead and pick what on there, recase and crank up the humidiy, when you leave, cut down the humidity go away and come back to a surpise. other than that, a week in between fanning and misting, might be kinda hard to do without your mushies fucking up

This sort of matched:

"Yet how easy it is to show him, that he also is a phantom walking and working amid phantoms, and that he need only ask a question or two beyond his daily questions, to find his solid universe growing dim and impalpable before his sense."

Emerson from the The Transcendentalist
