E: stalled or dormant fruiting
    #11293860 - 10/21/09 07:43 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

We have had great success with compost in mycobags. About 1 month ago we were unhappily forced into the unenviable position of having to store our fully colonized and fruiting bags in a warm, completely dark box for one week In someone else's house while our house was tented for termites. One bag shows signs of trich, so we pitched it, but the other bag looked fine. Since returning it to the light, we have seen mycelial growth and one two aborts but nothing else.  Is there a way to revive the bag, or should refocus our efforts on our next batch of spawn?

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

That was my thought but I wanted a second opinion. I felt the bag contents looked a little dry.
