Trimming Trays Shorter, Good or Bad?
    #11291346 - 10/21/09 01:25 PM (8 years, 8 months ago)

So my coir/verm trays are pinning very nicely now and I noticed since my substrate shrank over the last week while it was in the FC i now have a pretty nice collection of side pins going on, would I gain any advantage by trimming my aluminum trays down shorter so that the pins on the side have ample amount of room to grow?...which will also make it easier to harvest them off the side of the tray without havin to dig my fingers down the sides somehow to pick them.

or would it hurt to actually slide the entire bulk out of the tray and place it on a lid of the container in the FC

Either option works.

Everything posted by the user dancefloordale, aside from what is written in this here clause is completely and utterly fictitious, despite any information read (or seen), above (or below) that might lead you to believe otherwise.

whichever of the options is fine there are some people that lay there colonized subs right on the rack in a GH, so it pins all over...
