Stimulants don't age you, its what people tend to do to themselves while on stimulants, or any drug for that matter, that causes them to look older than they are. The drugs themselves don't make you look like shit, its the person and how they've stopped taking care of themselves. Now don't get me wrong while all fucked up on drugs people can look pretty beat up, I know first hand after seeing my mugshot after a night of binging on cocaine and alcohol, but longterm negative impacts on appearance are caused by lack of nutrition and personal hygiene.
As far as the orginal picture of Lindsay Lohan goes if she was on something or coming off of something that could explain why she looks so rough there but not in the photoshoot. Obviously at the photoshoot she was wearing lots of makeup with the right lighting and had a photographer who wanted to make her look good, but the photographer from the orginal picture probably didn't want her to look good. I imagine the papparazzi make much more money off a picture of her looking like that than they do if shes looking all sexy, or even like a normal person. My brother is a photographer and with the right equipment, lighting, and angles he can make anyone look really good or look like they just came off a week long crack binge.

I too saw the pictures at the supermarket of LL. Seems like she'll be dead from OD'ing long before she has to worry about what she'll look like when she's 40.
