It's day 25 after inoculation.
THE SETUP:
(From Beginners Kit/pre-mix)
- 12, 250 ml jars (Verm, BRF substrate)
- Equodorian Spore Syringe
- Average temp 77 F
ONLY 4 jars had any growth:
-Jar 1 - mycelium/contamination (Started day 9 )*Thrown out*
-Jar 2 - mycelium 20 % growth (Started day 11 )
-Jar 3 - mycelium 5 % growth (Started day 12 )
-Jar 4 - mycelium 5 % growth (Started day 15 )
NO growth in the 8 other jars.
After 25 days should I still expect to see mycelium growth in the other 8 jars ?
Does the mycelium growth seem slow on JAR 3
- 13 days after mycelium first appeared with only 5% of jar covered
Will re-inoculating these dud-jars work with the same substrate OR
should I place new substrate in than re-inoculate ?

After 25 days i would re make up new jars. Also did you shake up the syringes really goos before inoculating?

Also don't buy those shitty pre made kits. Just make up your own jars.

Yea go here www.mushroomvideos.com watch all the BRF tek videos. making your own jars is cheaper and better hand on experience

Make sure your not getting your substrate too wet, or too dry. You want it just right. (Field capacity)
Also, make sure your syringe is from a trustworthy sponsor. If it's from some hobo on the street corner you might have just pissed into the wind.
Another thing is 77 is far too hot in my exp. You gotta remember that if the ambient temp is 77, it's gonna be hotter IN the jars because mycil gives off heat... I'd lower the temp to about 70-72F.
One other thing is how are you inoculating them? Are you doing it in open air? Glove Box? Flow Hood??
If your not sterile you could invite all sorta problems.

yea get rid of the ones that are showing nothing after 25days.. when this happened to me they didnt show any signs even after 25days... they are contaminated.. start new ones make sure you boil the jars after you empty them to kill bacteria..
