The last 2 days have been fun.BC is great.

One of these mushrooms is not like the others. Can you spot it?

This morning hunt.Libs are on in beautiful BC !

I also found what i believe to be psilocybe subfimetarias.growing out of the side of either horse or cow shit.there was both in the area.but i will make a post for that later.

Nice haul! I've been wanting to hunt semis for the last couple weeks. But I have moral issues trespassing on farm land, and am too chicken to ask permission from a farmer to pick on his land. As I'm primarily interested in actives, I'm sure any reason I give to roam their pastures will come off as feeble and transparent. Anyways, where abouts in BC are you Symon? I'm in Langley, closer to the border

Thats not a trout or a stealie, its a fresh chrome coho salmon!Man it was tasty,i just wish i had some chantrelles to go with it.
That is pretty much my cover. I am fishing but i am also hunting at the same time.I used to just hunt mushrooms and bring fishing gear for cover.then over the years i started fishing alot .i knew good fishig spots from shroom hunting.and now it is vice versa , i have found new places to look for mushrooms through fishing.

If your in Langley i would concentrate on woood lovers like baeos, stuntziis and cyans. The amount of disturbed habitat and new landscaping is immense!I think i wanna try out there.

Yeah there are a lot of new neighborhoods going up around the Cloverdale/Langley area. I should investigate further. BTW, I've read about a few different covers people use while hunting on here, but not yet fishing. Its pretty cool that you can combine two of your hobbies like that. Kudos, sir

Oh, and may I ask what kind of habitat those semis were found in? I mostly just want to know if it was in an area grazed by livestock. Thanks

ya its worth checking cow fields and such.i went out again later today to a different spot and we found a few.this field is not grazed by live stock though.I have also found libs in a baseball diamond once down by this lake so they have a variety of different habitats.

some more pics.
