Habitat:
Grassy pasture once grazed by cows in the lower part of the feild,East midlands - England - Uk was growing in clumps of 2 or 3 out of the grass.

Gills:
White attached gills

Stem:
Fairly short and fat (white), pretty much solid

Cap:
1-2 inches orange/brown,

Spore print color:
Non existant/ white

Bruising:
Brown

Was found among other similar mushrooms the more mature ones having wavy caps which you can sort of see in the last photo

Grassland/pasture, east midlands - england - uk
Attatched gills - dark with grey/silver along the ridges
3(ish) inch long light to dark brown thin stem
Largeish cap- silvery brown. This was a large specimen as i thought it would be easier to identify.
Dark - Blue/black
Black/dark brown
They tend to grow in clusters, have seen loads of these around sometimes they have silver and gold tinges on their caps.

First on is a honey mushroom, Armillaria something.
2 looks like a Panaeolus

Honey mushrooms are edible.  They don't grow out of grass though, maybe there is a tree root under there that they are eating.  Some people have problems digesting them so they parboil them for a bit first.

I would expect to see an annulus on honey mushrooms and it doesn't really strike me as A. tabescens, but the texture of the cap seems to match.

So I am not 100% sure on that ID, only 98%, you might want to post a few more pictures and check the substrate.

Okey dokey, i wasn't intending on eating them they just happen to grow in a potential libs feild that we are heading through today and i was just curious to see what they are, There are many rotting logs in the feild and the area i kept finding these was quite close to a recently felled tree so lots of mulch.
This is how i found them...

Looks like honey mushrooms to me. There must be some buried wood under there.
