contamination?
    #11285135 - 10/20/09 05:33 PM (8 years, 10 months ago)

i know the picture isnt so great. but the circle their is a new thing to me ive had alota other types of contams and have looked all over the place for something similar but couldnt find anything. picture is tough to get a good look at i know, shitty lighting and crapy camera (probably just the camera guy i know) i have about 3 dozen jars with some of this in it. 2 different strains so i know its not jsut a bad batch. it is very slow growing. this is one of the largest spots i have found. but there are some with more scattered speckeling. i noticed several jars with pencil eraser sized spots about the same time the mycellium was about nickel size. now mycellium is nearly colonized except for in jars with this. and there are small spots that are now on the mycellium. its mainly brown but where the picture seems to be white edged in the pic its a lightbrown/gray. doesnt seem to line up with my inoculation points, so its randomly coming up in the puck. so im thinking its something in my verm or brf .. and since i have had other contam problems that seem nearly controlled if i pressure cook for 1.5-2 hours
