Everything is equally important on the scale of cosmic evolution. All other values are determined on the scale they present themselves. Self-importance is on a personal plane and has nothing to do with the complete meaning of what our presence in the flesh really stands for. We are after all so much more than the inflated idea of our self-importance. We fulfil a role however in the natural evolution of life, of the earth, within society, family or close friendships and to ourself. The forget all these relations we cary may make us blind to the totality of our existence and hence lead us into self-illusionment. Self-centred thoughts force upon ourself the idea that we are 'it', that we are somehow bigger or more important than that where we are grown from. Which is ridiculous. We are here to live our part, as life saw it fit to place us in.
