This tree trunk ugly isn't 'chicken', is it

What is this growth on wounded willow oak? Also oozes clear to amber sap, and there are chunks of black stuff at the foot of the tree.

That does look like an immature Laetiporus species.  That black crap underneath the tree is older, decayed fruiting bodies of the same Laetiporus that have fallen off the tree.

Before you ask the answer is Yes, you have to say the whole thing and yes you have to say it every time, and yes that includes the "a pimp named" part.

Would a person fond of laetiporus eat this in this condition?  I thought this grew in a much nicer shape, separated brackets?

And this one I know for sure isn't 'chicken' but I'm having trouble looking up gilled tree bracket?  It's a dead tree, the top half is missing so, your guess will probably be better than mine, but, I take a shot at pine.  I nibbled on one of these today, but didn't take notes.  Something tasted kind of buttery, either this one or the one up the thread.  I'll take my chance on the Mod deleting this for being off topic, but...here goes -

What's this one that isn't chicken?

Those "tire marks" are really weird...

It is definitely not Laetiporus as I originally suspected.  The pores are far too large.
YCAE probably has it right with Inonotus hispidus.

The last one you posted looks like Tapinella panuoides.

There are some good websites.  If you don't recognize a mushroom then you could try perusing some of these websites.  These are what really helped me get started with identifying mushrooms.
