It put me in a very big philosophical dilemma...
I mean, it's like the universe took a shit on the guy, smeared it over him, and washed it off with piss. I mean, he didn't even get the girl!!!!! Jeez...

well he still made it and i gaurentee it made him a better person but life takes shit on people everyday at least he is back in society livin a easy life think about people in other countries with no electricity or running water and food and shit there whole life is a stinky pile of doo doo

Life can be very satisfying without electricity or running water, sometimes even more so.
Look at rates of depression in 'developed' vs. 'undeveloped' countries.

So up until we had Nintendos and the internet life wasn't worth living?

Well look how you were acting about it, it's funny. But what I meant was so many of them would love to go to school get an education doing whatever job they dream about but never get that chance instead their villages are pillaged and raped, diseases, natural disasters wipe out countless thousands on a regular basis. Their daily lives are just about getting through the day if they live to see the next one it's considered a blessing. They would love to not have to shit in a bucket and walk through landfills of dead bodies and trash just to get from one point to another if they have anything to look forward to it's getting the hell out of there.

I agree. The more we vacate the natural human environment and replace it with concrete and cellphones, the less human we become. If technology was supposed to make our lives easier, why is everyone unhappy? Unless that *ease* is what makes us unhappy.
