I'm jealous that's a cool mushroom, it is Leucocoprinus birnbaumii and it is harmless to your plants. Nice pics too.

Where are you growing your salvia outdoors?

I'd imagine the Texas winter is far too cold, but I plan to move my mother plants outdoors as soon as the last frost is over with.

I still wouldn't worry about them, unless you have your plants in fruiting chamber conditions I don't see a problem.

I agree. I don't think it matters. They all seem very healthy and don't mind the climate.

If it was a loph, or something, I would be worried, but not trichs.

Had a few of these pop up in an unsterilized lophophora seedling tray with no ill-effect.  Your Trichocereus looks happy enough so I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for the ID on those mushrooms karode. I've seen them popping up in all sorts of potting soils and always wondered what they were. Never got around to asking though.

No worries. They seem to like peat based soils and are saprobic, so only feed on dead wood and not living. They do no harm to your plants at all and only decompose the dead organic material in the potting mix.

I was worrying about that.

I've had Lepiotas in a salvia pot because it was being kept too moist, never a good sign IME.
