Well, maybe I don't suck at it per se but I'm probably a lot better at doing WBS. Here have some pics.

And here's a bonus photo. It was my texas lc (light malt and dextrose). I dunno if you can tell but it was really dark grey. It was weird so I threw it out and I'm about to cook up 8 more smaller lc's.
So whadda ya think about the current progress? I'm not sure about how the WBS compares to you guys time wise, but the pf tek jars are going really effing slow. I'm probably just going to stick to grains after this grow and just stuff my pint jars with WBS.
I forget who authored the teks I followed besides Doc's WBS tek, but my grain jars have a 1/4" hole with a layer or two of tyvek under it and an inoculation hole with silicone. The pint jars have micropore tape.
Tomorrow, I'm doing 8 more quarts of WBS. Aaaand soon I might have some psilocybe galindoi: atl#7 (maybe 30 jars or so), PE, treasure coast, and pan. cambodginiensis goliath in the works.
Man this is proving to be fun.

you should take the tape off the holes of the pf jars.it will have better gas exchange.

IDK, I've been growing for 10 years and I've always done PF. Never bought a PC  It fits my needs, as I do not need much, and I get a whole lot from spawning. I use to get a good amount from simply casing the cakes as well. I do want to move on to grains, but I don't know what I'm going to do with a flush of like 5 ounces from a monotub.  And, it'll flush more times, too.

Yeah, I was kinda doing it as an experiment and as a safety net. I figured that if my WBS failed then the pf cakes would be a sure thing ya know? I was using them as a quick way to spawn to coir and case and hope that they were alot faster than the WBS.
I attempted WBS before and they all contammed, but that was years ago when I was using a TiT

And I'm afraid to take the tape off because either my verm settled or we didn't put enough because there's a good half inch or so of space. dunno if it will be sufficient enough of a barrier with me knocking the jars around so much.
And it took 3 days or so in the form of.....
It was such a fuzzy little ball I had to do the "help! I'm a noob and I don't know what myc looks like" thread 
And I'm less noobish because I ask you so many questions TK

Thanks, appreciate the kind words about the TEK. I have to edit it, though, because I've deleted a lot of my pictures out of paranoia I'm just to lazy too right now, and anyway the important information is there. But yeah, don't worry, I'll have the PC soon enough and I'll be cooking up some LC and messing around with WBS like all you youngsters.

Not yet, I'm going to make a syringe out of it. I'm thinking maybe I can do 2 if I scrape intelligently. Thanks for having my back 
Yeah, i've read about the WBS. Seems you have to soak it over night, take out the floaters, simmer it, then PC it. Are the self hilling lids as simple as putting the rtv silicone over the holes? And many use a tyvek filer underneath the cap, correct? Where the hell can I find that shit?

well the post office has it for free but using it for things other than mailing a letter is against the law. you can get tyvek painting suits at hardware stores too

or if ur just into growing for fun and want multiple strains in a small area for trading and whatnot, testing iso's etc.
