I'm in serious need of recalibrating my mental and spiritual compasses, but the universe has withheld from me for a while now. I've got to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I agree with Hunter S. Thompson when he said:
"Jesus man! you don't look for acid! Acid finds you when *it* thinks you're ready."
Maybe I'm not ready.

I had a dream where I got a lot of acid, it was 
but yeah, I duno man, just keep doin thangs, and if acid shows up, then it shows up.
Don't rely on it showing up without putting a little effort in finding it either.
If you hit up a festival, chances are high that you will be able to get some, among other thangs as well.

yeah, lucy is a fickle fickle lady, just play it hard to get, while keeping a eye out, shes around, alot of times right under your nose.

It sounds like you have a high enough respect for the substance. I don't think there's anything wrong with going and finding some in your case, just be sure its good L and not some DO(x). It's rare that it will just "find you" and fall into your hands. Music festivals have lots of L

Acid is a scene, and a movement. It's not hard to find, music is the key.
As far as needing to trip, the most powerful and spiritual trips of my life have ALWAYS been on mushrooms, never LSD. Mushrooms are incredibly easy to grow. Or order some San Pedro cuttings - there is always a way.

It's not necessarily L that I need, just a good, intense experience. I'm cyan hunting like crazy. I think I've just been looking too intensely. I think I need to calm down, meditate and ask for the universe to provide to me.
Excellent advise, all. Festivals in Seattle are awesome!

Thanks. Seriously, I think something is wrong with my mindset or method or both. I've found over 40 different species of mushroom in the last two weeks, and only a few of are even *suspected* actives that I can't fully ID.
I start a new job tomorrow and was really hoping to calibrate my mind and soul before then, but I think there's something that needs to happen first.

when the universe withheld from me I went to the drugstore and bought a bottle of Robotussin cough gels. The kind with ONLY DXM as the active ingredient. I took the whole bottle of 20 pills and had a great time

Experiment: Find a person not on LSD, wait until they ask about chestnut. Hand them chestnut, wait 60 seconds and then try to take it back from them. They won't let go.
