 Question about LC

I recently made myself an LC, successfully, using this tek

I would like to attempt a monotub grow, and am wondering if I can inoculate my substrate (will be using horse manure) directly with the mycelium, or if it would be wiser to just go ahead and us the LC to inoculate WBS or something like that, then use it in the substrate.
If the LC culture is viable for direct inoculation, can anyone give me steps on how to do that? Thanks guys

not a viable option ... knock up some grains and spawn ... myc needs a good head start to be successful ... contams and no fruits await you otherwise ...

you need to make spawn. and then mix that colonized spawn with your bulk.
there are reasons why people dont just skip that step.
if you try it then it would most likely contaminate before it fully colonizes your bulk.
when you mix your spawn with bulk it colonizes relatively fast.

I have another Q about LC, saves making a new thread.
When yo have myc growing, how much would you need to spawn a 1/4 quart jar? Normally you would use 1ml of spores by what about myc?

its not so much how much myc you have in the lc , its how much you can draw into your syringe ... that said you need a good ( snow globe ) kind of amount in there so that you can catch enough floating bits to knock a jar ... a good draw from an lc into a syringe should allow you to use about 3 ml per quart jar ...
