Actives, edibles, and cools
    #11277564 - 10/19/09 03:51 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

So I took a short walk while my girlfriend went into town and found some pretty interesting things. The picture quality is not great as I had the ISO set fairly high for most of the trip due to low light conditions. Enjoy the pics!

Stropharia aeruginosa (I considered an active psilocybe, it seemed to be bluing on it's own and had a pellicle [but now that I've done some research I see stropharia a. also has a pellicle...] I dunno, second opinion?):

Amanita muscaria:

Marasmius oreades anyone want to check me on this? :

Laccaria laccata:

Coprinus comatus (these were found last night and cooked to prevent liquification before I could use them):

Dinner:

Very old Armillaria mellea:

Boletus sp:

Mycena:

Prunulus purus (=Mycena pura):

False chanterelle:

The questionable Stropharia and marasmius are printing now, color specification soon...

I agree that the first is most likely str. aeruginosa. I'm not so sure bout the marasmius, but it could be oreades for all I know. Nice pics once again, beege

I think it is Marasmius oreades. Waiting on the spore print, though.

Deutschland, eh? Those pics remind me so much of where I live here in Oregon. Nice finds, and good luck on future hunts. Also, yr dinner looks fantastic.
