Subbalteatus still popping up
    #11276965 - 10/19/09 02:17 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

I went back to a field i started picking over 3 months ago and it is still fruiting. quite amazed, but i believe it is also due to the size of the field. Its about 4 baseball fields in size.

I will post pictures later. Im going back in an hour or two. but this time, no picking!

I am not surprised, I am still finding a lot of the warm weather, grass dwelling species in the Bay Area, and in Sothern California I found subbs almost all year round.  They usually stopped in mid Nov or Dec, and started back up in Spring.

It looks like we may have a great season ahead of us here, you ought to visit...  Weren't you moving to SF?

Good to see you, now show us some subbs.
