Just noticed this today. Should I hit it with some hydrogen peroxide?

What songs did they play, and how far away? Why did he whisper, why did she scream?
What does the sound of a screen door mean?
Who talks on the hill? Who goes to the cellar, can you feel the chill? Where does the river, when will the wind?
How far are the mountains? Where do they end? Why would the church?
Did the service begin? Tell me who died, and tell me who cried.
Help me hide in the skin of a deer, my zippered-up bag in the mouth of a stag so swiftly I go through rows of does,

So should I just let it sit for a couple days and see if it grows? I have a few pins, would that be a sign that it's not cobweb?

Hit it with some hydrogen peroxide. If on the bottle is says its a 3% solution use it straight Its already diluted enough then spray the cake about 2-3 times today with it lightly

i would go ahead and do the h202 it wont hurt anything, and yes it looks very much like cobweb thats jus starting out

how much other contam. molds look like mycelium?.....that cobwed shit looks sooo tricky.....what is some good ways to find out if you have cobweb mold? it wont be nice and solid like myc. or what?

Molds grow fast. If that is indeed cobweb then it's going to go from the original poster's picture to the long hairs nastos posted within 24 hrs.
Using hydrogen peroxide without being sure it's mold isn't a good idea. The peroxide isn't deadly to mushrooms mycelium, but it sure does damage and slows down fruiting progress.
