A few batches at once? (PF TEK)
    #11276359 - 10/19/09 12:10 PM (8 years, 8 months ago)

Hi, I'm about to start my first PF Tek grow, just getting all the stuff together atm.

Was just wondering, seeing as you can fit a certain amount of jars/cakes in your pressure cooker, does that mean that you can't sterilise those, but once they're done, put in more, adding the later batch to your already going fruiting chamber?

Or even just PC a bunch of jars.. add them to a fruiting chamber.. then do another load and put them in another FC of their own?

Seems simple and possible, although I figure there is a risk of contamination if I go with the first option, but just checking to make sure I'm not overlooking something, and that making a few batches with seperate FC is ok/logical?

I'll be going from one spore print, which I've read can make a few 10cc syringes. More than enough for a few batches right?

Its perfectly fine to add cakes as they come into your fruiting chamber

A spore print will make many syringes. All you need is scrape up spores about the size of a match head.
