I need Advice
    #11274015 - 10/18/09 11:34 PM (8 years, 6 months ago)

I live in New Hampshire and it's of course october and it's already snowed a little. I'm wondering what kinds of ethnobotanicals grow this far north because I'm really looking for something 'strong' that I don't have to buy.

I haven't been high on anything like a plant before (never even smoked weed)

But are there any seeds I can find or mushrooms that grow up north because I'm getting sick of smoking white sage.

Grow some cubensis indoors.  All the information you need to do it is right here at the shroomery, and it will only take a small initial investment

My N. Jersey dorm is home to a baby N rustica, 3x baby tropical vines, 2x baby sida cordifolias, a random cactus, and torch seedlings! While they are all struggling horribly in between me not watering them on weekends and getting dried out, having very undersized pots, and little to no light from a north facing window in a courtyard they're all struggling along just fine. I'm going to replant in the spring, but right now I'm killing time with my green little friends. I suggest you go for growing whatever you like, use HPS, floros, or whatever is in your budget, if you even have one! I'm a huge fan of being a cheap ass and having zero expectations though <:)

I reccomend that you grow a few general ethnobotanicals that don't require elaborate plans and huge effort, I reccomend you grow salvia divinorum, and you can provide the lighting to one plant under 2 feet tall with a 26 watt daylight 6500k cfl.
Good luck!

Salvia grows very well indoors with only the sun or a CFL.
