Quick pf tek question

I am going to be following the pf tek on youtube from RR. My question is about the terrarium in which you drill holes in all 6 sides.

I saw this comment posted by the author:
"You want holes in the bottom. Air is drawn through the perlite from the bottom of the tub, thus humidifying it."

If air is to be drawn through the bottom would I want to put my terrarium on a rack or stand to get the bottom off of the ground for better air flow?
