Do these BRF Jars look healthy?
    #11271230 - 10/18/09 03:00 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

Hi I am new to this hole mushroom cultivation world but i have spent days upon days searching threw this thread and others. I decided not to make a post unless i actually achieved colonization in a BRF jar. I am just wondering if some of you professionals out there could tell me if i am on the right track with these. I followed The PF Tek to the T using brown flower rice and vermiculite. The Strain of the spores are Ecuador and these pictures where taken today which is day number 8. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated thank you.

.....I also have 4 other jars that are only showing mycelium at the 4 sites where i injected the spores and they are a little larger then a quarter. I have been keeping the jars in a nice 78-84 degrees in a clean environment. I would also like to say thank you to the hole community out there especially RR for your excellent mushroom growing videos without you guys i would of never made it this far. To think going into this all i was looking forward to was the fruits themselves now i am actually realizing how much fun this hole process really is.

Seriously, the shit is super fun! I was havin a friend help me out the other day, and he was really amazed at how much fun it was despite all the work and cleaning we were having to do.
Once you get goin, patience is not as essential cuz you'll have other things to take care of while you wait on the incubation.
