So they can grow up to slaughter fellow Africans in senseless tribal warfare and further reduce the vanishing animal population while spreading AIDS because of superstition about condoms.

YES! I'm going to feed them all!
Ow wait, I don't care.
If I cared I'd personally do something about it though... Poverty is a consumer good, why do you think those camera teams film all those dying hungry children, certainly not because they care hahaha.
Quote:
Eye on the TV 'cause tragedy thrills me Whatever flavor it happens to be
Like: "Killed by the husband" ... "Drowned by the ocean" ... "Shot by his own son" ... "She used a poison in his tea, Then (she) kissed him goodbye" That's my kind of story It's no fun til someone dies.
Don't look me at like I am a monster Frown out your one face, but with the other (you) Stare like a junkie into the TV Stare like a zombie while the mother holds her child, Watches him die, Hands to the sky cryin "why, oh why?"
Cause I need to watch things die from a distance Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies You all need it too - don't lie.
Why can't we just admit it? Why can't we just admit it? We won't give pause until the blood is flowin' Neither the brave nor bold Nor brightest of stories told We won't give pause until the blood is flowin'
I need to watch things die from a good safe distance Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies You all feel the same so why can't we just admit it?
Blood like rain fallin' down Drum on grave and ground
Part vampire, part warrior, Carnivore and voyeur Stare at the transmittal. Sing to the death rattle.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la-lie (x4)
Credulous at best Your desire to believe in Angels in the hearts of men. But pull your head on out (of) your hippie haze And give a listen Shouldn't have to say it all again
The universe is hostile So impersonal Devour to survive So it is, so it's always been ...
We all feed on tragedy. It's like blood to a vampire.
Vicariously, I live while the whole world dies Much better you than I.

She's a RAG DOLL. Little RAG DOLL! Such a pretty face, should be dressed in LACE!
When she was just a kid. her clothes were hand-me-downs. (Hand-me-down) They always laughed at her when she came into town. Called her rag doll, Little rag doll. Such a pretty face should be dressed in lace. Ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh. Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh. (Shag rag doll) I'd change her sad rags into glad rags if I could (if I could). My folks won't let me cause they say that she's no good. She's a rag doll, such a rag doll; though I love her so, I can't let her know. Ooh ooh ooh ooh oh. Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh oh. Aah aah aah aah aah. I love you just they way you are.

The wife worked with a Rich man from kenya who gave everyrything to be middle class in america. He said that in africa, it's believed if you get the aids, the only way to get rid of it is to have sex with a virgin.

I have had a zillion mystic-heads here tell me that we must accept and respect everyone's belief system and that I am a douchebag to challenge such nonsense.

Wow I learned something new... ALL Africans slaughter fellow Africans in senseless warfare and spread AIDS. Now with this rational perspective you've given I can truly justify never donating money to causes aimed at feeding the hungry people in Africa.
Good thing you challenge the nonsense and don't spread it OC..

If all of the children in the world were perfectly well fed, what happens to the total world population? Does it likely increase, stay the same or decrease?

Don't know about the whole world being perfectly fed, I'd hazard a guess that in such a circumstance the population might have a period of up and down before plateauing. If we were to generalise based on a well fed nation such as Australia for instance, then the population is likely to stay the same. Then again, not every nation is like Australia, so it's hard to say. But population size isn't solely based on how well fed the people are is it? I don't know, I'm no expert on the matter, and as far as I'm aware neither are you.
But before getting into another debate on this topic, why not just link to the other thread you started some time ago where this was discussed at length. I remember you made some sort of stupid analogy between humans being like locusts eating themselves to to death or some such thing.

fuck kids in africa... its definately a consumer good... people support kids in africa so that they feel better about themselves. When they say that you can make a difference and save a life, theyre laughin on the inside. This is because, there are many other things people can do to help kids in poverty stricken countries. Basically, by NOT purchasing so much crap from big international corporations, you could be saving the world... but youd screw up the economy! oh shit.. wouldn't that be bad for the world? Well actually, the world is much more comfortable for lots of us than is has ever been for any humans ever. This has only been made possible due to our horrific exploitation of coloured people all around the world. so yeah, to save the crap half of the world, you gotta sacrifice the well-off half of the world.
unless we get some radical new business practices going, as well as generous altruistic unconditional investments flowing into moral economies.

Please explain your idea of "moral economy", and emphasize the differences between such an economy and an "immoral" economy.

Bastards, how dare they support kids in Africa for that reason! They really should stop being so selfish and let those kids fend for themselves.
