    #11268932 - 10/18/09 01:48 AM (8 years, 18 hours ago)

Hey guys, is there someone out there that can positively id these caps for me. I have been studying them for six weeks now and am still baffled. The Amanitas are tricky. First I thought A. muscaria var guessowii then A. frostina but someone has recently told me A. muscaria persicina.  I have found these very common in Dahlonega, Athens and Atlanta, GA.
The pics are not great but any suggestions would be much appreciated!

* Habitat Under: Conifers
    * Characteristics of the gills: White
    * Characteristics of the stem: White/cream, non tapperd/tappered ocasinally,  bulb: at bottom whith collar and a ocasinal volva ring or two
    * Characteristics of the cap diameter:color yellow/peach,
    * Spore print color:White
What kinfd of mushroom is?
You may choose only one
