my first libs of the year!! with a cluster?
    #11268080 - 10/17/09 09:11 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

finally found my first semilanceatas of the year! off to a bit of a late start. the first picture is my favorite

i've noticed that this patch grows with deformations. the stems are very bent. maybe due to there being no grass above them to push through?

tiny little pin

small one

large one. it's a pretty detailed picture, too

just some

i like this picture too

i find this one very strange. those are concave caps!! i thought they weren't supposed to do that..

then i saw this:

i was kind of confused for a second.

then i moved the leaves to find:

 again!

i thought libs were supposed to grow scattered!

thanks guys.

so, how weird is it to have concave cap libs? does that just happen sometimes with old age?

and what about that tight cluster, does that happen often?

i was also wondering if that old one in the first picture, behind the young ones was P. Strictipes.
