How do these jars look at 10 days? Pics
    #11267663 - 10/17/09 09:43 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

Ok

These jars are a little tighter than they should be.This needs to be sorted out. The jars go in the pressure cooker looking fine. Nice and loose. That issue is being dealt with.

There are a few jars that seem to be growing pretty slow, and one that is just blowing up. This makes one wonder. does the mycelium grow inwards as it grows around the outside of the cake? Could the cakes that show slower growth outside be growing on the inside a faster rate? just a thought.

Thanks, and here are the PICS - AHM99

It is 3m surgical tape. It should breathe ok. Plus it has also been pierced by the needle.

I know this post is kinda lame but the feedback is helpful.

Thanks,

AHM99

yes it is...unless I read something wrong that seem to be the best type to use on the jars. Is this correct?

I do find they colonize faster without tape and the dry verm barrier has not let me down. Micropores not the cheapest shit around here I dont use it and have had no probs
