I love lucid dreaming
    #11265949 - 10/17/09 04:12 PM (8 years, 8 days ago)

Every single time I'm dreaming and I become lucid my immediate reaction is to jump into the air and start flying. The only thing I've ever done while lucid dreaming is flying because it's the first fun thing that pops into my mind and it's sooooo much fun! It feels incredibly real.

Who else flies a majority of the time when they're lucid dreaming? Or what is your immediate response when you become lucid?

My dreams have been pretty wild now that I have been laying off the weed.

I do more of a float than a fly. It's like my body gets lighter than the air around me and I go straight up vertically, maybe diagonally if Im lucky but that's rare.

That's the only thing I've ever done as well when lucid dreaming.

I remember trying to fly to the moon but my vision just kind of stalled like in computer games when you try and go out of bounds and nothing happens.

I will get there eventually!

I like to use my dreams to explore different realms of reality.
flying is fun, but I've moved passed it.

oh and when trying to fly in a dream, try to make where you want to go "come to you". instead of you going to it.

dreams become a lot easier to manipulate when you realize that it's basically a virtual reality. as in, see it as you're staying in one spot the entire time, and to move throughout the landscape, you need to mentally change it around you, instead of trying to interact with it.

and never close your eyes. you'll reset the dream.
it's like turning off the power on an SNES console during the middle of a game.

There is a wall of stars that you really have to try to get past.
Once I got past it though everything glitched out and it was like I got stuck in a wind tunnel.

haha yeah

The last time I went around flying in a dream, I was going from store to store and stealing things. I eventually tried to fly into space, but I shot there so quick that my surroundings were just black and empty. I dropped back down and the same thing happened, but as the environment started to reappear I found myself in the ocean.

Lucid dreaming is fun, but I'm usually too high when I go to bed to even have regular dreams.

I remember dreaming I was in a room with friends and I discovered I could float/fly.

I wasn't lucid dreaming which made it even weirder.

I was trying to teach them how to do it. "All you have to do is jump and believe".

"What the fuck are you talking about!?"

I then got on top of a cupboard and glided across the room and sat on top of a wardrobe. They were stunned. So was I.

Ya,it's a balls, got back into smoking everyday so can't remember most dreams.

Took 2c i last night and the moon and the stars looked amazing.

I will make it my duty to get there in my dreams somehow.

I often times use my flying ability to frighten the dream characters.
I start chanting and then I float up and they all freak out or are in awe of my powers.

There were a couple times I actually made it into space but it was so exaggerated and strange I don't think it was like real space at all.

I rearly have lucid dreams and even more rarely flying ones which i love (who doesnt man?), i was depressed for some time and took 5-htp which has done wonders along with a general diet change and outlook on life, but the 5-htp gave my dreams a whole other dimension which were prettey intense already since i dont smoke weed any more, in some ways i preferd it when i smoked, i hit the sack and before i knew it i was awake the next morning. A film about dreams you might want to chek out is called waking life, directed by the same guy who did a scanner darkly in a similar format, animation layered over real film

while were on the subject of dreams im sure your all awear of the myth that if you die in your dream you die in real life, i usually wake before this but on one occasion i was falling and hit the ground, i felt weird, surreal and surounded in darkness, then i woke up, anyone else have similar experiences?

I was sky diving and my parachute didn't open, I kind of just bounced on my feet when I hit the ground, opened my chute, and then landed gracefully lol.

I stopped having lucid dreams when I stopped smoking pot, then started having them again when I started up again.
