I like guns and roses, but I don't think they're usually considered classic rock.  I think as a rule of thumb the music has to be at least 25-30 years old to gain that title.  The only band from later in the 80s that I included was Tesla because they're just so

Also the singer and guitarist from Cherry Poppin' Daddies do a side-project with a few other guys called White Hot Odyssey that's amazing. If you heard their CD without knowing what you were listening to, you'd swear it was just some good classic riff-rock from the late '70s.  I guess the group is probably on hiatus, but if you ever come across their CD you should check it out.
