I dig some Creedence.
The Stones are good.
or Boston.
or Aerosmith.
or Sabbath or Ozzy.
or Cream.
or the Who.
or King Crimson.
or Rush.
John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in their many incarnations were good
as were the Yardbirds
and Fleetwood Mac in the Peter Greene years
Jimi
Traffic
Blind Faith
Alice Cooper
The Zep
The Allmans
The Dead
Jethro Tull
ZZ Top
Journey
The James Gang
The Eagles
Skynyrd
Queen
AC/DC
Van Halen
Pat Benatar
George Thoroughgood
Tesla

You know, that sorta stuff :smirk:

You should check out Fleetwood Mac from years and years before Stevie Nicks joined, when they were a British blues band. Fucking great one. Then their guitarist/writer took tooooo much acid over the course of a three-day stay at an estate in Germany and had a mental breakdown, so Fleetwood Mac ended up evolving into the Nicks vibe... not that I don't like her voice and her rampant indulgence in cocaine... but few people know Fleetwood Mac was a oldschool blues-rock group at the start.

The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
King Crimson - In the Wake of Poseidon

Don't mind us, just being some of the most amazingly arranged and well-written albums of all time.

Checkem out.  Kinda southern rock but from Califronia.  I guess it's not classic rock but it should be.
