Habitat:
Malta, mossy/grassy(ish) area.

Gills:
dark brown

Stem:
3inches long, 0.5inches diameter, gray.

Cap:
1.5inches(maybe), light brown + cream , smooth , convex cap.

Spore print color:
They're not my pictures... and my friend is absolutely & utterly confused with the idea of spore printing.

Bruising:
no bruising reported.

Those are Psathyrella, perhaps something like P. candolleana.

It almost looks like there might be two different species in the second picture.... but maybe not.

You can tell the spore colour is dark brown or purple brown by looking at the spore deposits left on some of the over-lapping mushrooms.

Of course.
They are not active.

There was one report of them being mildly active, but I am highly skeptical, and because there was only one source from quite some time ago, I don't feel bad dismissing that report.  Especially since no other species of Psathyrella have ever been reported to be active.
