New oyster grow
    #11261381 - 10/16/09 07:22 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

I'm starting a new oyster grow using a culture I got from trichcultivator in March. Its be in my culture fridge on a slant since then, so 5 days after I plated it when I noticed that the tissue I took from the tubes was pinning, I was quite surprised and happy! This should be a nice grow, I'll keep you all updated. Here are some pics of the plate.

My grain masters are nearly 100% colonized. Would have been faster but I didn't shake them so they wouldn't. Lookin really nice.

Both were started with large wedges (about 2/3 of a plate each).

An amazing strain.  Very fast and aggressive.

You sent me that strain in our trade in May.  You'll really like them.

Here are pics of fruits I had by July.

Thanks PC.
