I've tried those and they eventually short out do to the high humidity. Although if you just use it as a gauge once in a while it will last for a while, but who does that.

I had a digital that sat in the FC and it shorted out in 1day. I have another with a remote probe that has been at 99% RH for 2 weeks 24\7 and it is still working fine.

I've been wondering about the terrarium specific models with the remote probe. Is yours like that or is it for weather?

my digital P.O.S. was all adjustable and cool and accurate, only problem is it maxed out at 90%!!! Bastards. So I just snagged the $4.99 one.
