120 Watt LED too much? OG needs Help ;)
    #11256961 - 10/16/09 01:02 AM (8 years, 6 months ago)

Hey guys long time no see

I am getting back into this and I am looking into decent lighting for my 10x5 space on a light mover. I am a serious hobbyist as you can see  Has anyone used a Blue 450~460nm LED? I am eyeballing this one right now

I use a 90w ufo led on a few salvia plants, seeds, and small cuttings. That should be fine, LED's don't get too hot, so I would reccomend using that.

well 450 is  not the color temp its the nanometer length of the wave (wavelength)
its  a single color light.

shrooms like a full spectrum light in the 6500k range

6500k is a color temperature not a wavelength

:pm: me if you have questions about lasers

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.
