Picks of first grain colonization
    #11256592 -

Here's a pic of a few of my jars I'm working with. This is my first time using grain, which is popcorn. For a while I thought my spores died from the extreme heat when my spores were in the garage, but lo and behold they pulled through :dancingshroom:

Christianity has a built-in defense system; anything that questions a belief, no matter how logical the argument is, is the work of Satan by the very fact that it makes you question a belief. It's a very interesting defense mechanism and the only way to get by it is to take massive amounts of mushrooms, sit in a field, and just go "Show me."

They are the P. Cubensis Burma strain. I have yet to shake them. I figure I will let them colonize a little bit more before I do.

I would have shaken those a while ago.  Like 15-25% colonization. ~P~

I was thinking of just using a casing. Is this a bad idea?

Ive mixed popcorn and rye, works just fine, rye colonized way before the popcorn, im 10x better with rye than popcorn, with popcorn getting it properly dried and the water moisture content is a bitch for me, lately i'm trying to simmer till i can cut it open with my fingernail, about to do a g2g on a batch done like that.
