from a book i've been reading: "Several weeks ago Joe had a substrate cake that was in a terrarium, and a contamination started to show itself, it eventually spread through the entire TOP of the cake and was a dark but recognizable GREEN. The cake was placed in a grocery bag resting on a bed of wet vermiculite. And just the other day Joe opened up the bag and to his suprise there were little mushrooms growing and the green are had been overtaken by white mycelium and could no longer be seen. Joe is very skeptical. Can he EAT THE MUSHROOMS??"
