As its coming closer to the end of the season in the uk and not being one to miss out on an opportunity when there is one, i"ve been stumbling across many of these in my usual liberty cap area. Ive always avoided anything other that l.caps in the past, but after spending hours online and noticing many different species popping up here and there would like an i.d on these please



Habitat:
Green pastures, Cow dung

Gills:
Light brown when young Darkens with age

Stem:
Varies in length considerably, Slightly Slimy when wet

Cap:
Whitish grey turning brown with age. Attatched to stem when very young, some have a nipple on the top

Spore print color:
Purple/Black

Bruising:
Slight Blue bruising

Secondly,


Habitat:
Same Green pastures,

Gills:
Very light cinnamon

Cap:
Orange/red

Spore print color:
in progress

Found these in the same fields. grouped in small clusters, never seen them before active or not they i wouldnt mind an id out of curiousity please.

#1 is Stropharia semiglobata and the bluing is most likely wishful thinking, because they do not bruise blue.
Can't tell you what #2 is spontaneously, but they are both not active.

I bought a compound bow this year but somehow never got around to getting arrows.  :flyhigh:

Maybe next year. You hunt at all?

when i was younger i hunted quail, dove and squirell. i plan on picking up a bow this winter and huntin' deer and hog next year though. i do go deer hunting with my old man but no bang bang for me......:shrug:
