1/2 pint cakes

hey, this is my first grow and my half pint cakes have been fruiting for a couple days now. i'm just wondering how much wet weight others have produced from this size of cake to see if i did allright.

one of my cakes produced about 55 wet grams
another, 48.

this doesnt seem like very much to me, but let me know what you think.

thats like 10 grams dry from 2 cakes.. that not horrible

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

My first produced about what yours did, 50-60 grams wet. It seems to be doing about that in it's second flush, as well. Some of the others produced only a gram or two, however I assume they will fruit longer, so it should equalize out somewhat.

Next time you grow make the cakes just like you did, but crumble them up and double to volume by combining it with an equal amount of pasteurized cow poo or manure. I used one of my 1/2 pint cakes crumbled into 5 small trays of cow poo, and though it took them almost two weeks long including time to colonize all the poo, the mushrooms growing off poo are twice as large, easily.

One of my cakes exploded and made almost 9 grams. However, it's second flush has so far only produced 4 caps.

my avergae per cake is around 7 grams dry so 70 wet

the dry weight of the first cake was about 6.4.
im not dissapointed, i just dunked it yesterday and am now trying a second fruiting.
