Both were found growing on wood chips(IL)

1) Probably Conocybe, close to C. tenera.
2) Mycena

Both lack psilocybin and are likely to be toxic.

Would you say number 2 is Mycena leptocephala?

It sure could be.  There are a lot of little gray Mycenas.  The next thing to check for is a bleach like odor and spindle shaped cheilocystidia.

yeah I called it that because of the bleach smell it has.

That is good, but I notice that at least half the Mycenas I find smell that way.
