North Seattle, First catch, help with id
    #11253412 - 10/15/09 01:56 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Habitat:
Northwest, north Seattle, wet medium-long grass, possibly soil.

Gills:
Brown to light brown. They are attached but seem to not touch the stem. Curves up closer to the stem.

Stem:
3-4 mm in length. Mostly light brown (perhaps from dirt). Some white.

Cap:
About 4.5mm in diameter. Has a bump in the center.

Spore print color:
My first attempt at a print: Very light brown. Very faint (probably from improper printing). Possibly too young of a bunch for a print?

Bruising:
Dark blue or dark purple.

Other information:
Smells like dirty caramel? They are weak. Soft, wet, falling apart. Crumbly!

I like folding textures, and changing colors. I like delay and reverse reverberations.

Probably Inocybe but Cortinarius is possible.
