All the time.  Much safer than sun gazing, I think.

It's interesting how even consciously knowing that the moon is huge and amazingly far away, I'm still stuck seeing it as a small circle floating in the sky.  We aren't built to really perceive that kind of size and distance...

right?!! i mean you look at it and it appears small and you know its not. and it appears so close but its not. its appearance can be extremely misconceived. and i agree much safer than sun gazing

"And in my darkest moment fetal and weeping,
the moon tells me a secret, her confidant.
As full and bright as I am
this light is not my own and
a million light reflections pass over me.
The source is bright and endless
She resuscitates the hopeless
Without her we are lifeless satellites drifting..."

We enter your imagination
As you open your heart
We enter your dreams "

ive sorta develope dunknowingly a ritual with the moon every night.

i tend to get high, meditate with sum form of shamanism, then get my scope and stare at the  moon all night long. then end it with a joint and sum deep pondering about the moon.

good shit.

I look at the moon pretty regularly and think to myself- "damn, we're small and worthless."

And I think about the size thing too.

I wish we had more moons, though.  Moon gazing is probably more fun on Jupiter and Saturn.

I had a dream the other night, and the moon was like a major symbol in it.
So I was like, standing in the street looking at the night sky, and there was a moon, and it was enormous, it covered almost half of the sky. And I could saw all of the craters and stuff. And it was rotating clockwise, but I just knew, it is not the moon that is rotating but the earth is. So all of the sudden the moon as big as it is, splits in two same parts, and one part just flew away from the earth, and I could saw it getting smaller and smaller and the other one just hanged there in the same spot.. :what:;)

Beside that... love the lyrics, walkingeyeball...
